Manong Fishball Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 liter Water
- 4 tbsp Cornstarch
- 4 tbsp Flour
- 3/4 cup Brown sugar If you want a sweeter sauce, then feel free to add more.
- 5 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 small onion minced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pc Sili/chilli cut in small pieces If you prefer more spicy sauce, add 1 or more.
Instructions
- In a saucepan, mix water, soy sauce, cornstarch, flour, sugar until the dry ingredients are dissolved.
- Put the sauce pan over medium heat.
- Cook until the mixture boils, stirring constantly.
- Add the rest of the ingredients - garlic, onions, chili and salt then lower the heat.
- Stir the sauce through continuously until it reached the desired texture and then remove from heat.
