HaloHalo with Pinipig

It’s summer in NZ! When it’s summer, it also gets hot here. And when it gets hot, halohalo is one of the best refreshing food(s) you can have. I like best when my halohalo has pinipig. So I thought of a pinipig substitute, and that is toasting rolled oats. Yes, you read it right! Rolled oats!

What did my halo halo have?

1- I bought a frozen boiled plantain and boiled it again with sugar syrup.
2 – Jonas halo halo  fruit mix and beans
3 – I also bought an ube icecream from pinoplus.
4 – Grated melon
5 – Crushed ice. I used the nutri-bullet(in crash mode) to crash the ice.
6 – Evaporated Milk.
7 – The “pinipig” !
8 – Sweet macapuno

Procedure :

1 – I mixed ingredients #1, 2, 4 and 8.
2 – I put the pinipig.
3 – I put the crashed ice.
4 – I put evaporated milk.
5 – I put the ube ice cream on top.
6. Then I halohalo!

Voila!
