Instructions
In a large bowl, mix flours and brown sugar.
Add water.
Add the annatto powder.
Add lye water.
Mix until all the ingredients are well combined. The batter will be runny.
Strain the mixture to remove the bubbles and undissolved annatto powder.
Pour the mixture into the puto molds.
Steam for 40 minutes.
Let it cool before removing from the molds.
